Andrew Murphy, a dedicated professional with a proven track record as a Project Manager, Electrical Team Leader, and an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.). With six years of industry experience and a relentless pursuit of professional development, Andrew is currently on the path to obtaining his Professional Engineer (PE) certification. Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2008 and holds a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. This diverse educational foundation enriches his problem-solving skills, determination, and effective communication. Andrew‘s journey in the industry began as a CAD Drafter, evolving into a multifaceted role as a Project Manager and Mechanical Designer. His extensive experience spans various sectors, including industrial, municipal, medium voltage, mission-critical, commercial, multi-family, high-rise, defense, and education. Andrew’s passion for engineering excellence is evident in his commitment to providing fantastic customer service. From designing data center training facilities for Fortune 100 Top 10 companies to contributing to the construction of one of Texas‘s largest high school campuses, Andrew consistently delivers high-quality work. Well-versed in NFPA 70 (NEC) and IECC requirements, Andrew is a proficient communicator who excels in problem resolution. His expertise extends to industry standards, empowering clients with expert recommendations on available options and ensuring thorough, contract documents that radiate excellence. Andrew’s notable achievements include reducing utility transformers on a large multi-family project, conducting over 100 assessments of existing sites, and efficiently incorporating generators into new project designs. His ability to ask the right questions and understand client needs has resulted in significant cost savings and streamlined project timelines. Known for his calm and patient demeanor, Andrew excels at collaboration with owners, clients, and team members. He actively engages in discussions, bringing valuable insights to the table and ensuring the improvement of project drawings through strong coordination and early intervention. While Andrew thrives in the world of engineering, his favorite titles are husband and dad. Married to Lynsi for 10 years, he finds the greatest adventure in parenting his two daughters, Sarah Beth, and Bekah Joy.
