Alan Boone is an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager dedicated to delivering top-tier MEP solutions. In 2021, Alan proudly earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University, setting the foundation for a dynamic career in the field. Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, ETAP, and other cutting-edge software, Alan specializes in electrical design with a keen understanding of industry codes, including NEC, NESC, IECC, and NFPA. Currently pursuing my EIT certification, Alan is on track to achieve his goal of obtaining a PE license, further enriching his capabilities in the industry. Alan’s portfolio boasts diverse experiences, ranging from large grocery distribution centers to maintenance facilities and multifamily complexes. Notably, he played a key role in integrating a new service for an existing HEB campus, establishing a two-loop medium voltage system for enhanced equipment protection. Alan believes in the power of collaboration. Through effective communication and active listening, he ensures that client visions are not only understood but also integrated seamlessly into our designs. This collaborative approach extends to project teams, architects, and clients, fostering strong relationships and successful project outcomes. Alan’s commitment to excellence is unwavering. Alan is an active member of esteemed organizations such as the National Fire Protection Association, Illuminating Engineering Society, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Through active involvement, he stays at the forefront of industry trends, research, and best practices, aligning his skills with the latest advancements in MEP engineering. At home, Alan finds joy in being a devoted pet parent to two delightfully spoiled cats. Alan’s passion extends to maintaining a vibrant freshwater aquarium, and I aspire to delve into the world of saltwater aquariums and terrariums. When not immersed in engineering, you‘ll find him at the local bowling alley, enjoying a few rounds with his trusty bowling ball.
