Summit has designed multiple on-site grid-tied Microgrid systems of up to 10 to 20 Megawatts.  These systems provide a very high level of power resiliency, at an unbelievably reduced cost by subsidizing the initial equipment cost and maintenance by selling power to the grid when power prices are high.  This can often subsidize 80% to 90% of the equipment cost, and eliminate all maintenance cost for the owner.

All contractual agreements, operation, maintenance, fuel contracts and other aspects of the system are handled via a 3rd party provider, providing a highly reliable power source for the owner with no maintenance or other responsibilities.
