Jordan Weatherred is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer and the first WELL Accredited Professional at Summit, bringing over 9 years of invaluable experience to the team. Jordan joined Summit in 2023, contributing his expertise to a wide range of projects across the nation. Jordan graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Math from Texas Tech University in 2014. He became a Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) in 2019 and is currently licensed in 5 states nationwide. His commitment to excellence is further exemplified by his status as a WELL Accredited Professional, well-versed in all aspects of the IWBI WELL Building Standards. With a diverse portfolio spanning tenant remodels, restaurants, multi-family residences, medical offices, specialty manufacturing, and more, Jordan has been an integral part of projects ranging from less than 1,000 square feet to over 1 million square feet. Noteworthy projects in the DFW Metroplex include Curative at Toyota Music Factory, Lucid Private Offices, Commondesk, Colossal’s new office and lab at the Continental Gin Building, Mexican Bar Company, and Adaptive 3D in Richardson. Jordan is proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT, including BIM 360 hosted modeling. His extensive knowledge encompasses mechanical and energy codes, food safety, manufacturing, pharmacy design standards, and clean room design standards. As a project manager, Jordan excels in coordinating MEP infrastructure with other trades, addressing construction site challenges, and fostering clear communication among team members. He has facilitated discussions during design charrettes, page turn meetings, and on-site, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills. Jordan is affiliated with the International Well Building Institute and is an active member of the Dallas chapter of ASHRAE, showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. Outside of work, Jordan is an active member of the local Dallas music community, enjoying playing various instruments in his free time. He and his family serve as small group leaders at the Shawnee Trail Church of Christ in Frisco, TX, actively contributing to their local community.
